Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching (CAST)For more than 60 years, the Science Teachers Association of Texas (STAT) has presented the Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching, or CAST. Over the years, CAST has evolved into the preeminent, must-attend event for thousands of science educators and advocates from across Texas and the entire Southwest. CAST25 ResourcesSession Presentations and Handouts: Session presentations and handouts are available in the STATCAST event app, if provided by the session presenter. You can access the STATCAST event app via the mobile app or via your desktop browser. You must use the email you used to register for CAST25 in order to access the app. Continuing Education/PD Form: STAT is a TEA-approved CPE provider, and sessions at CAST qualify for professional development credit hours. You can self-report hours using the fillable Continuing Education/PD form. For each session you attend, record the course number, title, and time. Course numbers are available on the CAST25 website.
