Congratulations to the 2019 STAT Statewide Award Recipients

Each year, STAT proudly recognizes excellence in dedication to science education through our annual award programs. The STAT Awards Committee is honored to announce the following educators as STAT's 2019 Statewide Award recipients.

Outstanding Science Educator of the Year Awards

The STAT Outstanding Science Teacher of the Year Awards recognize excellence in science teaching. The awards are presented to STAT members in the following categories:

  • Elementary Science Teacher of the Year (Early Childhood–Grade 4)
  • Middle School Science Teacher of the Year (Grades 5–8)
  • High School Science Teacher of the Year (Grades 9–12)

The award recipients will be recognized on Friday, November 22 during the general session at the 2019 Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching. Join us in congratulating:

Outstanding High School Science Teacher of the Year

The STAT Distinguished Leadership in Science Award recognizes outstanding support of science education at the district or state level by a non-teaching administrator in Early Childhood through Grade 12.
