CAST23 Call for Proposals

The Science Teachers Association of Texas (STAT) is thrilled to announce the CAST23 Call for Proposals is now open!

As one of the premier science education events in the country, the annual Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching (CAST), presented by the Science Teachers Association of Texas, traditionally features hundreds of breakout sessions presented by educators like YOU who generously share their best strategies for inspiring discovery of the world through science. And this year, with the adoption and implementation of the new science TEKS approaching, attendees will benefit from sessions designed to help them navigate three-dimensional science teaching by leveraging the recurring themes and concepts and science and engineering practices into their daily instruction.

STAT invites you to turn your innovative teaching strategies and lesson plans into proposals for sessions that could benefit educators and students across Texas and beyond.

Deadline Extended! Submit your proposal by Thursday, June 15, to share your expertise at CAST23, November 9–11 in Houston.

The CAST23 Call for Proposals is closed.

Note: If you plan to submit session proposals on behalf of STAT Affiliate organizations, please contact STAT at [email protected] for specific instructions.
