CAST Scholarship Program
2019 Scholarship Winners
STAT is pleased to award scholarships to qualified members through a scholarship program designed to support attendance and participation in the annual Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching (CAST).
This year, for CAST 2020 Reimagined, awardees will receive complimentary Individual Plus+ registration to the event, which includes full access November 5-7, and on-demand content through January 31, 2021.
Attendees who fail to register for CAST by the date specified will be required to forfeit the scholarship to STAT.

Scholarship Award for CAST 2020
- Includes an Individual Plus+ registration, which allows access to the full conference experience with on-demand content access through January 31, 2021.
Qualifications
To be eligible to receive a CAST scholarship, the following conditions must be met:
- Must currently be a STAT member. (Membership will be verified.)
- Must currently be a science teacher (grades pre-K through 12) or a science administrator.
Previous CAST Scholarship recipients are not eligible.
Awardee Expectations and Agreements
- Attend CAST Scholarship Roundtable Session during CAST 2020.
- Post about conference experiences on STAT social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) throughout the conference.
- Write a follow-up blog post/article/STAT365 thread for STAT publications about their CAST experience.
