Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a discounted rate for non-profit organizations?

There is no special rate for non-profit groups. Approximately 30% of CAST exhibitors fall into the non-profit category and they agree that the modest fee for a booth at CAST is a bargain considering the exposure it provides to large numbers of Texas science teachers.

Do exhibitors have to register for CAST?

Exhibitors do not have to register as a conference participant unless they want to attend some of the workshops / sessions that are part of the CAST program.

What is the CAST refund policy?

Exhibitors who cancel more than 30 days in advance of CAST will receive a refund less a $100/booth space processing fee. There will be no refund given for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the conference.

What comes with my booth?

Each booth is carpeted, and comes with one 6' skirted table, two chairs, back and side drapes, and an identification sign. Electricity is extra, and is ordered through the decorator.

How do I find out if my workshop proposal has been accepted?

Notices of proposal acceptance should be sent out about July 8. Submitters of proposals that are declined should also get a notice by the same date. Contact the CAST program chair if you have questions. For CAST-2010 that person is Sharon Kamas. kamasS@lpisd.org
