ACCESS exists to promote and facilitate collaboration among Austin area cultural and educational sites and schools to ensure that Austin's students and educators have opportunities for experiential learning. Contact information: CBIE
Coastal Bend Informal Educators CBIE was formed in March 2000, and is composed of institutions,
organizations, and individuals working toward a common goal of enhancing
opportunities for learning. The mission of CBIE is to establish a network
of informal and formal educators, to build partnerships with area schools
in order to better fulfill our educational roles, and to facilitate interaction

SPERC
SPERC is a partnership of area organizations dedicated
to providing support for formal education through outreach programming,
both on-site and in the classroom, related to classroom curriculum.
SPERC's purpose is to promote and enhance understanding, appreciation,
and commitment to informal educational resources across the curriculum. SPERC partners: Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Buddy Holly Center, City of Lubbock Public Works Education Department, Crosby County Pioneer Memorial Museum, Education Service Center Region 17, High Plains Underground Water Conservation District No. 1 , Institute for the Development and Enrichment of Advanced Learners (IDEAL) at Texas Tech University, KTXT-TV Channel 5, Lubbock Area Coalition for Literacy, Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, Lubbock Early Childhood PTA, Lubbock Lake Landmark, Lubbock Municipal Garden and Arts Center, Lubbock Regional Arts Center, Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, Museum of Texas Tech University, National Ranching Heritage Center, Playa Wetland Education at TTU, Science Spectrum, South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Inc., Southwest Collection/Special Collection Library at Texas Tech University, Howard Hughes Medical Institute Education Program at TTU, The Zoo in Lubbock.
