Keynote Speaker
Dr. Elsa Bailey

Dr. Elsa Bailey, Principal Researcher and Director of Elsa Bailey Consulting, is the current Informal Science Education Director at NSTA. She has over ten years of evaluation experience with museums and museum-school projects and more than twenty-five years of experience as an educator in both museums and schools. She began her education career as a classroom teacher in the New York City School System, and moved into museum education in 1989 with the Miami Museum of Science where she worked with children and teachers, ultimately becoming Director of Teacher Education and head of the museum’s state funded Center for Excellence in Math, Science, and Technology. Elsa Bailey Consulting provides technical support to museums and other organizations to assist them in their planning, implementation, and coordination of education programs and collaborative projects.
