CAST 2007 Conference Schedule and Program Catalog

The 2007 conference schedule has been finalized. Download the schedule here to begin planning your visit to Austin! The schedule indicates the times and locations for all events!

Visit the program catalog page to see all of your wide selection of workshops, short courses, and field trips:

PRESENTERS: STAT is expecting a record turnout for CAST 2007 and most workshops will likely be filled to capacity. All workshops are scheduled either at the Austin Convention Center or across the street at the Hilton. To estimate how many attendees will be in your session, please check the weblisting of all workshops for your location, and then download the CAST 2007 Room Capacities   document to determine the room arrangement and maximum capacity. In order to keep costs low for all attendees, STAT is only able to provide presenters with a screen and overhead projector. Presenters who require a computer or LCD projector should make arrangements to bring these with them. All presenters must register for CAST.

Sneak Peak at CAST 2007 Program Book

Do you want a heads-up on the program book before you arrive in Austin? Now you can look through the program book information online. You can check out the schedules, speakers, special events, maps, parking, etc., ahead of time.

The only thing missing from this online PDF version (4 meg PDF) is the daily listing of field trips, short courses, and workshops. You can still review those online by clicking on the CAST 2007 program tab. The final program book you receive in Austin will have both sections compiled together in beautiful color.

Enjoy!  We look forward to seeing you very soon.

Finding Your Way Around

The Austin Convention Center provides a download hotel map, convention center parking map, and a general Austin area map to help you get around. This Area Hotel PDF will help you locate downtown hotels.

Within the convention center you will find the following maps useful in finding your sessions: Level One, Level Two, Level Three, Level Four.

Shuttle bus service is offered between host hotels and the Austin Convention Center.

Participants who have lodging not in walking distance of the CAST shuttle routes may want to visit the Austin Public Transportation web site to learn about other opportunities for transportation.
